All pieces taken in on consignment will be thoroughly researched and cataloged by our team of specialists. Estimates are based on prices achieved at auction by comparable pieces, as well as the specialists’ knowledge of the current market.
Each piece will be professionally photographed in our in-house studio.
The catalog will be posted on our website, as well as on appropriate online auction platforms.
Sellers are charged a commission based on the hammer price of each lot. The standard commission structure:
35% commission of each lot selling up to $1,000
25% commission of each lot selling from $1,000 to $4,999
15% commission of each lot selling at or above $5,000
We do not charge additional fees for research, cataloging, professional photography, insurance, marketing or advertising.
Reserve prices can be discussed and set prior to the auction. An auction reserve is the minimum price the seller is willing to accept for an item. Please note that excessive reserves and estimates tend to inhibit bidding and work to the consignor’s disadvantage.
